Nothing in your life will change unless you take the first step over the ledge and jump. I say try it, you might just find you like it. It may not be easy at first, but you will put the wheels of change into motion. Life is a journey. When you stop, stand still and do not take any action toward your desires, nothing happens. Action must be taken and like Ray Bradbury says, your wings will unfold as you fall. I would like to say that your wings unfold as you fly. Choose a destination, your life will take you there when you are in action. Make sure to take the time to be quiet and grateful at some time each day. Simple plan. Does it take courage? Yes. Are there results? Yes. It can lead to a very happy life.

The quote below by Bruce Lee is powerful. There are days many people feel defeated by something small, all the way to feeling the whole day defeated them. This feeling can build, gaining momentum. Defeat really is a state of mind. Rise up and stand in your power. If you feel defeated in any way, you gave that power away. Decide that your reality is all you dare to dream by feeling, thinking and knowing exactly what you want. Use all of your senses. Get involved in how that feels, what it looks like for you and then Get Out Of The Way!! Now go about your life staying as present as you can. Being in the now moment is critical to your success. You have probably tried everything else. Why not try this. You can’t change your whole life in a flash, so start small. Pick one thing to work on at first. See it exactly how you want it. Feel it intensely, alive with colors, sounds, use all of your senses. Accept it. Get out of the way. Stay present, which means out of the past and out the future. By knowing what you want and staying fully present you will create your future. The more positive you are in each moment, those moments will come together for you in ways you will love to live. Feel that this is real for you and go on with your day and don’t look back. Defeat is not for you or for me. It is not for anyone. It is just a choice.

I would like to quote Josh Hinds, a Syndicated Columnist and Author “Whether or not we realize it each of us has within us the ability to set some kind of example for people. Knowing this would you rather be the one known for being the one who encouraged others, or the one who inadvertently discouraged those around you?”
How do you see yourself? Do you uplift others or try to pull them down? Some people tend to discourage others because of their own experiences and fears. How could we possibly know what is right for another person when we come from our own perspective or viewpoint? Try keeping an open mind next time someone asks you for advice. The worst vice can be advice, as many people dust off their old experiences and pass it off as wisdom. This can be a positive or a negative. Many people are addicted to giving advice, make sure it is positive and uplifting. Don’t let anyone discourage you from your greatest dreams and desires. Maya Angelou says “Courage is the most important virtue because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. If you’ve seen and know the truth then you have had enough courage to change your way of thinking.” Cheers to Living in Courage.
