It Takes Courage to Say “How Easy Can It Be?”

Thursday, October 9th, 2008 by Debra Oakland

I notice people talking about how hard everything is. Life, work, relationships, parenthood, growing up, letting go - you get the idea. We have programmed ourselves, and not in a positive way in most regards. Life is not supposed to be a struggle, we make it that way. It takes courage to say, “How easy can it be?”

Not making enough money? Set a goal of what you want to make - an end result. Perhaps you want to make $5,000, $10,00 or $15,000 or more a month. Pick an amount realistic to you, but stretch yourself a bit. Then say ” I don’t know the details of how this will happen, I may not know the way to make this happen, but I hand the details over to _________.   Who do you trust in as a higher power, your source, a guardian angel? Use whatever you are familiar and comfortable with, or just the strength you know is inside of you.

Say the amount, hand it over and then say “How easy can it be?” Say it all day, feel it. There is an abundance of money on this planet, plenty of rich people. They have money, so can you. How easy can it be? Be a magnet for what you choose, because only you get to choose what comes into your life. Get used to knowing things are easy - not difficult. Reprogram your hard wiring.

You can use this statement for relationships, a job, health, joy, peace, financial freedom or any need you have. There is an abundance of all of these things everywhere, so it is available to everyone. Change your attitude with courage of conviction.

There is so much going on in the world right now that frightens people. You will see old dark systems crumble beneath the feet of those who have been living off the backs of the people. The lies we have been told will unfold faster than we can keep up. The world of finance, business, economics, technology, energy and global interaction will all change as new systems rise to take the place greed and corruption.

As these changes occur, we need to change what is in us as well. Look deep into old patterns. Anything unforgiven, anger, judgment of yourself and those around you, what is not working in your life and how you created it. How do you approach each day? Usually the same old tired way. Wake up and say this day will be different - “How easy can it be?” Change your self talk, feelings and actions to reflect these new miracles that are waiting to come into your life.

Will your try it? Just give it a chance. It takes courage to say “How easy can it be?” But, you know what? I know you can do it.

Courage + Commitment = Successfull Goals

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 by Debra Oakland

How committed are you to reaching your Goals? This quote came to me today from Bob Proctor. I had just finished some writing for Guide to Home Based Business, where I post blogs on utilizing courage in business. This quote is so true. With courage, combined with commitment, you will find a way and the power to do almost anything you set your mind and heart to.

If you make the unconditional commitment to reach your most important goals, if the strength of your decision is sufficient, you will find the way and the power to achieve your goals.”

Step 5 - Get Results

Friday, July 11th, 2008 by Debra Oakland

Getting results leads to more motivation being created within you, getting results makes you feel good about yourself, so the more results you can achieve along the path to your success the more successful you will be.

A good way to get plenty of results is to set yourself loads of achievable small targets which when achieved will lead you to your big goal. It’s like someone trying to loose weight, a lot of small weight loss targets will achieve the end result far better than aiming directly at your main goal. Each time that you reach one of the small goals you will feel good about yourself and that will give you the drive and motivation to carry on.

This way you keep telling yourself that you are on the right road to success, it becomes hypnotic. Hypnosis after all is only a method of feeding your brain with positive, motivational food, so the more you feed it - well I don’t think I need tell you what happens do I? OK, I will tell you anyway. By feeding hypnotic food to your subconscious it begins to believe that what you are telling it is true, after all it is isn’t it? When your subconscious believes in what you are feeding it, you become, feel and behave that way. So the more you feed it the better you feel, the more success you have, and the more motivated you become.

Getting results is great natural food for the brain, but don’t be afraid of failure, after all it’s still a result. Turn the failure on it’s head and call it a success. By being positive about a set back you will be motivated into not experiencing that same failure again and move on to further success.

Step 4 - Believe in Yourself

Saturday, July 5th, 2008 by Debra Oakland

Motivation is the emotion that drives you to gain success and reach your goals, motivation alone will get there – eventually.

To speed up the process you also need to believe in yourself. if you don’t believe that you can accomplish the tasks that you set for yourself in the previous steps, or don’t believe that you will reach your goals and become successful, you won’t, it’s as simple as that!

Motivation and belief go hand in hand, so sit back and think of all the times you have been successful, times when you have reached goals in the past. These things need not be the same goals that you have set for yourself now, or even be related to them. The important thing is that they are times when you were successful. In other words, times when you were motivated and had belief in yourself.

Someone once said that success breeds success, and I truly believe that to be correct, Others say that money goes to those who already have money. I believe that it is the success that those people bring to themselves that is what makes them more money, not the money itself. I believe the success that they bring to themselves doesn’t come automatically, they still have to be motivated and have belief in themselves and what they are doing.

Simply start believing in yourself. Remember times when you have been motivated and had success in the past and you will be telling yourself that you are capable doing it again and again – that’s self belief.
