Unlikely Courageous Hero in Jason McElwain
October 26th, 2008 | by Debra Oakland |Jason McElwain (J Mac as he likes to be called,) is a highly functioning autistic boy, but autism is nothing for this basketball star. Jason is an student assistant for the coach Jim Johnson. Coach Johnson gave Jason a chance to play in the game and talk about courage. This is a video of an amazing boy and his basketball story inspired a school and athletics department.
