The Shack by William P. Young
September 17th, 2008 | by Debra Oakland |I just finished reading “The Shack” by William P. Young. This book is so powerful, full of courage, beautiful, fun, uplifting and full of surprises. It was not what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of the book. I could not put it down, but did not want it to end. The story stays with you long after you read it. Your perspective will change about many things life, if you are ready and willing to hear the messages there for you. I highly recommend this book to everyone who visits me at Living in Courage. Along with having a strong message, it is very entertaining, so get out there and find a copy. This is a book you may find useful to refer back to from time to time.

I’m about half-way through the book and am excited about finishing. Glad to hear your recommendation. Also, I work with Abunga.com, and we are hosting an online chat with William P. Young on Oct. 22 from 2-3 p.m. EDT. Join us, if you can, to hear more about the book directly from the author (Abunga.com/AuthorsAtAbunga).

Hey Debra, great posts the last several days - glad I came back to your website to visit!
My cousin gave me The Shack for my birthday a few months ago, and I too, couldn’t put it down. It really stands out both in style and in content - is that a good teaser?
